[He was always happy to teach her how to play, and usually their sessions are fun as she slowly puts chords and notes together. Then she asked about the date.]
I had a feeling that was your doing.
[Not amused.]
It wasn't bad. Not exactly good either. My date was Integra, and I think she was the same Integra as on the paper a while back. You know, the one where you get 300 credits if you're able to maintain a relationship with her or some'in.
[She tries to squirm away. If she used her powers, it would be more effective but they were trying to keep a low profile. (Besides, it was a bit nice being treated like she was a normal girl.)]
I thought you might like to meet more friends? I thought it would be funny? Um. I'm sorry?
If it was a nice change of pace, then why did you give me a noogie!?
[She's busy fixing her hair. Don't do that to a girl's hair! Geez.
She meant more that Shiho helped her sign him up, but she's going to save her being noogied.]
I went on a picnic, actually. With some guy called Ryouga. He tried to take all the food for himself. [After she teased him.] He seemed like an okay guy though.
My metal barriers can protect me from RPGs and incoming vehicles, but I can pretty much tailor these things to suit the situation. So long as I recite the proper prayer.
She also sends him a location, a building that's different from the one she lives in because there are far too many people there in case this didn't work.]
i'm on the roof.
Re: [ text; ] - [Action] [SORRY! I thought I replied to this DX]
[He noted the different location, meaning chances are she might not be with Shiho or if she is, the knowledge of her location is limited to a select few. If anyone at all.] Got it. You're about 10 mins away. I'll be there in 5.
[In about four minutes and thirty eight seconds, he'll land on the roof in full regalia, immediately throwing down the same daggers and field as when talked to them. Accompanying him as a large metal hawk that was carrying a bag of sorts in it's beak.]
You should take better care of yourself if a fever means you isolate yourself.
[He takes off his mask and approaches, not to fast just in case she is that dangerous in her state.]
Have you taken your temperature?
[Action] no worries! It happens to me all the time!
Safe bet. But I'm sure you also haven't eaten, slept properly, or bathed, have you?
[Once he's about a foot away, he takes of his glove and places a palm on her forehead.]
Hmmm, you have a temperature that's for sure. Do you feel like throwing up or shaking or anything like that?
[He takes his hand off and beckons to hawk which swoops down and drops the bag next to him. Upon inspection, the bag contained food, thermos, medicines, and blankets.]
How about dizzy spell? Does it feel like your head is bobbing from left to right?
I've dodged a C4 going off in my face. I think I can handle your powers.
[He's actually not sure if he can handle her powers, and he actually narrowly avoided becoming a grease spot. He was out of commission for a while after but, those don't matter now.]
If you're head is hurting then I suggest you lie down.
[He holds his hand out and it emits a warm green glow, seconds later a camping bed big enough for one person appears in a flash of light before the two of them.]
[She thinks she's hilarious, thank you for agreeing.]
I'd rather not risk it.
[Okay, she did promise to explain, but she's been kind of stalling. Welp.]
Our powers were already strong when we were five. They haven't stopped growing even now and when Minamoto's concluded that it's out grown what our bodies can handle. In a simulation he ran, I can use my full power non stop for at most twenty minutes before I explode and take out a good chunk of area with me.
[ action; ]
So. How was the date?
Sorry for the late reply!
I had a feeling that was your doing.
[Not amused.]

No problem!
[Because the two of them were two peas in a pod.]
I don't think I read that edition. Do you think people really need to be paid in order to date her?
[That seemed kind of mean and also, Kaoru has a hard time believing someone could be that bad...]
no subject
[He's trying not to say "yes" out right.]
...After meeting the person in question and spending some time with her....I can....understand a little of why someone would put a reward for that.
[Though he in particular didn't have such a terrible time. Not the best, but not the worst.]
no subject
[Because that sounds like a 'yes' to her.]
It still seems a bit mean to write something like that in the papers.
[Maybe it was a prank...?]
no subject
[He promptly stands up, walks behind her, places his knuckles on the sides of her head and starts grinding.]
Signing up your guitar teacher was also pretty mean, huh?
[Said in a very nonchalant manner.]

[She doesn't really sound sorry though.]
And you're messing up my hair!
no subject
[Grind. Grind. Noogie. Noogie. He releases her soon after and walks back to his seat, reaching for his water bottle and taking a swig.]
Well, I will admit it was a good change of pace. So I'll thank you for that. So, you said Shiho did the same. How was you're night out?
[A beat.]
Actually, I'm surprised they let you in. Doesn't one usually need to be eighteen and above?

[ text; ] Before the hole opened up
[She thinks. She's not actually sure how your powers work.]
how strong are they?
Re: [ text; ] Before the hole opened up
My metal barriers can protect me from RPGs and incoming vehicles, but I can pretty much tailor these things to suit the situation. So long as I recite the proper prayer.
Why?
[ text; ]
i'm sick. i have all the symptoms of a fever. if that happens, i might lose control of my powers.
[ text; ]
Fair enough. I can be over there in a few minutes.
Re: [ text; ]
[It's only fair.
She also sends him a location, a building that's different from the one she lives in because there are far too many people there in case this didn't work.]
i'm on the roof.

[She sounds teasing and she is smiling still but there's no hiding that she's worried (or the fact that she looks ill and exhausted)]
I haven't. I thought it would be safer to just get out of the house first...
Re: [Action] no worries! It happens to me all the time!

Not throwing up, but the rest of it? All there.
[She sighs a little.]
I don't know when my powers will start acting up. You probably shouldn't stand so close to me.
[So she says, though nothing has happened so far...(and nothing will. She hasn't figured that part out yet so the fear she feels is incredibly real.]
Re: [Action]

There, and keep yourself warm.
[And then he tosses her a blanket.]
[Action]
[She's grateful for the bed and she smiles a little at how he's acting.]
Yes, mother~.
[She'll lie down without any complaints though.]
But I'm serious. I'd feel better if you weren't near me. I'd rather not send someone else I know to the hospital.
Re: [Action]
You worry about getting better and I'll worry about your power.
[Sage advise.]
And besides, aren't you underestimating me a little? Not to brag or show off, but no one here has seen my full potential.
[And he hopes he never has to go that far.]
[Action]
I'd rather not risk it.
[Okay, she did promise to explain, but she's been kind of stalling. Welp.]
